Proteinuria is a condition in which a person experiences an abnormal amount of protein in the urine. The urine appears to be foamy as it has albumin protein in it and so-called albuminuria or proteinuria. Proteinuria symbolizes an underlying kidney-related disorder because mostly it is the filters of the kidneys associated with the protein loss from the blood and then floats in the urine. Rarely a healthy individual can also experience small amounts of protein in their urine, and so they don’t need urine protein treatment in Ayurveda. It is usual to have a small amount of protein in the urine, but more can be related to kidney disease.
The kidneys that actually filter the blood and expel urine are held accountable for proteinuria. Plasma, which is the liquid portion of the blood, has many types of proteins. The function of albumin (out of many proteins in the blood) is to prevent fluid from accumulating in the cells and tissues. So, the kidneys have to ensure that plasma protein does not skip along with the waste. This happens in two-way mechanisms that prevent protein from passing into urine:
Proteinuria is caused when either the glomerulus or tubules are not functional or damaged. Possibly, it could be the inflammation also that allows more protein to skip through the filters. Rarely, red blood cells may also skip through the filters when the damage to the glomerulus and tubule is extreme. Proteinuria may also occur when the small molecules of protein are present in excess in the blood, and tubules cannot reabsorb all of it. Also, at times, proteinuria is also caused by temporary conditions but doesn’t necessarily indicate kidney damage. For instance, strenuous exercise, dehydration, aspirin therapy, infection, exposure to extreme cold. Another absurd form of proteinuria is when there is protein when urinating standing up than lying down. Through diagnostic tests and screening, your healthcare may know about the actual cause of proteinuria. It is better to opt for urine protein treatment in Ayurveda for a healthy recovery. The most common cause of proteinuria, if it is related to kidney disease, are as follow: Diabetes - It is common to experience the signs of proteinuria in people with type 1 and type 2 diabetes. Hypertension – If this occurs in people with high blood pressure, it may indicate impaired kidney function.
Take Urine protein treatment in Ayurveda if you have any of these signs and avert the underlying cause of the problem. What are the signs of proteinuria? Proteinuria is associated with no signs in the first place, especially when the damage is mild. Most people get to know about proteinuria with the help of diagnostic tests only and delay the treatment. So, if you have risk factors associated with proteinuria, we recommend regular urine tests for people. The nonspecific symptoms linked to proteinuria are as follow:
How is proteinuria diagnosed? Proteinuria is diagnosed with the help of a urine test by the healthcare team. The patient provides a urine sample, which is examined in the lab for evaluation. A dipstick test, which is done by placing a plastic stick coated with chemicals, is dipped in the urine. If there is too much protein or any other substance in the urine, the dipstick changes color. The doctor will check for red and white blood cells, bacteria, viruses, and crystals that may result in kidney stones. If the diagnostic tests show you have CKD that led to proteinuria, your doctor may recommend additional testing for further evaluation of CKD. Urine protein treatment in Ayurveda With the help of Ayurveda, inflammation in the kidneys can be corrected and the damage reduced. Ayurveda has the capacity to rejuvenate the damaged portion of the kidneys and prevent protein from losing it all. It is a permanent cure that has no ill effects on the body, unlike allopathic medications that further lead to inflammation in the kidneys.
